ERASMUS+ mobility

ERASMUS+ mobility is based on student and staff exchange.

Student exchange involves studying part of the program (semester, academic year) at a foreign university or an internship at a foreign institution / company. In addition to contributing to the academic and personal development of each student, student exchange is one of the factors that contribute to the quality of the education system and the construction of a Europe of knowledge.
Exchange students are students participating in a formal exchange programme between their home university and the University of Zagreb (i.e. Erasmus, Bilateral agreements, CEEPUS, Erasmus Mundus etc.). Exchange students participating in a formal exchange programme are exempted from paying tuition fees.

The University of Zagreb welcomes teaching and non-teaching staff from all over the world into its academic community. Having in mind the importance of a tolerant and democratic international environment for students’ successful learning, scientific and artistic research as well as their personal development, we strongly support and promote international mobility at our University.

Duration of individual mobility can be:
• Student mobility for studies: 3-12 months
• Student mobility for internship: 2- 12 months
• Staff mobility: 2 days (not including travel days) - 2 months, a minimum of 8 hours of lectures per week in the case of teaching activities
